Synopsis:

Even if it is a choice that they would regret later on.

Right after the Valentine’s Day event, Hachiman and the others resolved to take a step forward on that one snowy day at the aquarium.

A certain big request comes to the Service Club.

For them, overcoming that request with a completely different approach than what they have been doing up until now was natural.

If that is really the thing they are looking for—.

Even if it is a choice that they would regret later on.

Maybe it’s true that as time goes by, they themselves would become adults one day—that people will keep growing through the cycle of meetings and partings. But, the thing in front of their own eyes right now is only the “present”—.

Yukino, Yui, Hachiman. Holding each of their feelings inside their heart, they come up with their own “answers”.

A new novel painting the sculpture of youth, the story proceeds to the final chapter. The 12th volume of the series.

Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata Girls Side 3, the penultimate volume of Fumiaki Maruto’s currently ongoing light novel series was released on June 20. Despite being separately numbered, the Girls Side novels are integral parts of the main series, patching up the important developments concealed from Tomoya’s perspective. In order to completely enjoy the intended experience of the series, one needs to go through all of the books.

Eromanga-sensei

Eromanga-sensei has been generating steam as one of Spring 2017’s most anticipated anime, and it’s certainly not without reason. Originally penned by Tsukasa Fushimi who was known for his previous popular—albeit controversial—work, OreImo (Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai), the show doesn’t take long to establish what it’s all about: a slice-of-life romantic comedy involving a pair of siblings; only this time, we get to look at the story from the glasses of a high school light novel author instead of a plain highs school student. Also, Fushimi made it clear from early on that the characters aren’t blood related, which the series compromises with its overt inclination on the romantic relationship between the siblings.

Henshuu-san to JK Sakka no Tadashii Tsukiaikata

“If an editor and a high school author start going out, don’t you think it would be a perfect romantic comedy?”
Henshuu-san to JK Sakka no Tadashii Tsukiaikata (The Right Way for an Editor and a High School Author to Date) is a new light novel series published by Fujimi Fantasia Bunko. This light novel is penned by Hajime Asano, an author previously known for his work Mayo Chiki!. Besides being an author, Asano also worked in some anime like Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans and Akagami no Shirayukihime season 2 as a key animator. The illustration of this light novel is done by 6U☆, a doujin illustrator who often draws Love Live! and Touhou illustrations.

Synopsis:

Fubuki Saehara (17) is our main protagonist, who also works as a part-time editor. He is in charge of Misa Ryuenji, a 7-year award-winning author, but… “Fubuki Saehara is my master~♪” Misa who aims to be the heroine with her writing style, seems to desire a relationship beyond work!?

Saekano Volume 12: Twist and Conclusion

Probably won’t be able to do a quick review on Saekano volume 12 since I’ve been occupied with work and lots of night shifts in these past few months, but here is a longer teaser. Hopefully you guys don’t mind.

Another important thing to note is that the series will be concluded in the next two volumes: Girls Side 3 and volume 13, just like what I’ve mentioned previously in the page.

Ryuuou no Oshigoto!

A short post for this since apparently it managed to take the 1st place of Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! 2017’s Best Light Novel category.

Ryuuou no Oshigoto! is a comedy and shogi light novel written by Shirow Shiratori (author of Nourin) and illustrated by Shirabi. Three volumes have been released so far and it seems to be positively received in Japan so far.

Synopsis:

“Yaichi Kuzuryu is the youngest shogi champion in history—the ‘Ryuuou’.

And this is Ai Hinazuru—a girl who asked him to become his disciple.

Being too young for his title, Yaichi is going to revive his shogi through a passionate disciple…

Wait, Ai-chan is 9 years old? She is an elementary school girl! And… is she going to live with Yaichi? All night until the morning? What? Officer, can we have you here, please! A comedy about shogi-holic live-in disciple.”

Will put this on the list next time.
